Title: Syncing apps between Nexus 7 and smartphone?
Post by: cliff5550 on March 24, 2013, 02:26:06 PM
Finally talked my wife into buying a Nexus 7 but I need to find how to sync her games from her smartphone to the Nexus 7 when it arrives. Found an app called DataSync but the device(s) have to be rooted to use. Would rather not. What's the best and easiest way to sync so she can go from a game on her phone to the tablet and be in the same place gamewise?

You could try Koush's Carbon - App sync and Backup (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup), the free version does not include app syncing so you will have to buy the premium unlocker but you can play around with the free version before buying.

Carbon does not work on Motorola devices and the Sony Xperia S and Z.
