Title: Problem setting-up wallpaper on the N7
Post by: Zell on July 19, 2012, 10:13:29 AM
I found off the web several wallpapers supposedly tailored to specifically fit the N7's display.  I have been able to download the images to the N7's "Gallery" file.  However, before I can save an image as wallpaper on the device, the N7 forces me to edit the image to fit the screen.  To do this I have to drag the image's parameter edges to where I want them on the screen .  The problem is, for some reason the N7 does not allow me to size the image to the full width and length of the screen.  The parameter edges of the image only widen and lengthen to a small, limited extent.  So, after saving the image as wallpaper with the limited parameters set, the end result is wallpaper that is not the same size and picture quality as the image from the web.  I end up getting only a portion of the image as wallpaper.

How do I set an image off the web as a wallpaper to perfectly fit the N7's screen?

Also, is there a way to set the resolution of the N7's display so something else?  Maybe this would resolve the issue.

After looking at all of this, what it boils down to is I somehow need to shrink the size of the image to get the whole image on the screen as wallpaper.  Instead of only part of the image.  How?
