Title: Deleting images
Post by: geophoto on April 16, 2013, 07:54:34 PM
I have several images on my Gallery page that are not tied to existing files, and I have no idea ow to get rid of them. I have reset the tablet, but they keep reappearing They do not show up in Settings-Storage-photos,video

Welcome to the forum.

I just went to the app drawer, opened Gallery, tapped on a photo. Touched the three dots upper right corner and selected delete. If you're using a completely different Gallery, I have no idea.

Well, I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get rid of a Picasa pic that I couldn't seem to delete from the gallery.  It wasn't as easy as I thought it should/would be.  Since Picasa was synched with my PC, I got on there and signed in and deleted all of the Picasa stuff and un-synched it.  It was scary for a while there....

Sign into Picasa and delete from there.

I went for the simple answer, just in case. You could try a file explorer and see if the files are read only. When you mentioned reset, was that a factory reset or a reboot? What are the images?

If it has the Picasa logo on the bottom right of the image then you'll need to delete from the Picasa website as the guys mentioned, otherwise follow what Matt said.
