i have pa android 3.10 on my tablet   now i got a message that there is a update to 3.16  now do i have to go thru all the steps i did when i installed the 3.10 paradroid android rom  to install the update   thanks

You didn't tell us what steps you took to install the 3.10 ROM. You probably don't need to format the data partition, and can do a dirty install.

I'm not the lowest of the low, but I am the slowest of the slow (49.5 mpg over 42k miles in  Scion xB)

Mmm... I wouldn't dirty flash from PA 3.10 to PA 3.15, clean flash is best.

Wipe data, format system, wipe cache, wipe Dalvik cache and then flash. Use Titanium backup or Carbon -App sync & backup to backup your existing apps.
