Title: Play Store 4

I stumbled upon and downloaded the new version of the Play Store. I didn't get a notification for an update. Did anyone get an OTA /notification or update or was this something that needed to be downloaded and installed like I did? Been busy at work lately, I feel like I missed something..

I received Google Play on my S3 Galaxy without any notification and now have v 4.0.26. On my Nexus 7 I still have v 3.10.14 and notably neither device is set to auto update, so obviously the update is not keyed to your Google account. V 4.0.26 has a totally new look and feel and a redesigned settings menu, but the previous version retains full functionality so, I suggest that you wait on Google as I plan to do on my Nexus 7.

I like the new look and feel. Certain updates give a nice fresh feeling. This is one of them for me.

The update is pushed to devices irrelevant of whether auto-update is checked as with any Google Play store update, mostly you just don't notice until something big changes.
The US has had the update for a few weeks now but neither my N4 or N7 have updated here in the UK so I have installed the apk on my N4 but waiting to see how long it will takes on my N7.

The UI is card based just like Google Now, seems to be the way Google is heading with it's applications atm.

4.0.27 it's out now but no major changes form .26...
