If you have VIP status at the TapaTalk Forum, you have been able to test the "Private Beta" over the past few weeks and if not you may have noted many of our Nexus 7 Forum members posting with a signature indicating that they are using "TapaTalk 4 Beta". Personally I have been very impressed with the potential of TapaTalk 4 and look forward to it merging TapaTalk 2 and TapaTalk HD. The public beta mentioned in the quote above, should allow anyone to install the beta and may even entitle you to free or reduced pricing when TapaTalk 4 is released. So I encourage you to at least install and register an account with the public beta. The updates to the private beta have been released on Sunday, so we could see the public beta as early as Sunday, 26Jun2013. I will update this topic when the Public beta is released.

I can't find a thread on the Tapatalk forum for the public beta? I've found a real annoying bug... I can start a new paragraph. The enter key on stock 4.2 keyboard now says "Done"and closes the keyboard. Damn frustrating...

Tapatalk took down the thread earlier today and no one knows why so we are waiting for them to put it back up. As some extra information, if you are using a swipe keyboard, there have been issues with that type of keyboard in the earlier beta.
Edit: Some follow up, I tested it with SwiftKey and hard returns, work without issue.

Click the circle with plus on the left of the quick reply for a normal reply.

Yes on the quick reply but that's not really the point, I'd class that as a work around. It wasn't like that before the public beta.
If I'm replying to a large post and I want to scroll through that post and answer in context, I can't if I open the full reply box. I can use another workaround and quote the post I'm replying too but again that's a workaround and seems to defeat the point of Tapatalk in the first place... Convenience...

Public Beta now available in the Play store...

Eventually this will be merged with Tapatalk HD and renamed Tapatalk 4, so anybody who hasn't purchased Tapatalk HD can use this for now but once merged you will need purchase this to continue using it and all Tapatalk HD users will obviously be using Tapatalk 4 instead of Tapatalk HD.

Thanks to JayJ for posting the link to the Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tapatalk.tapatalk4&write_review=true) "Public Beta" and those of us who have purchased Tapatalk HD, will apparently get a free upgrade to Tapatalk 4, but don't write that in stone until the final release of Tapatalk 4. If you are happy with Tapatalk 2, don't worry, it will remain supported to accommodate Android versions prior to JB and will continue to work on your Nexus 7, if you choose not to change to Tapatalk 4. I will be repetitive and suggest, that you at least install the free beta and follow/join our forum's discussion, as we follow the beta's progress.
