Title: Sound Volume
Post by: carguy49 on June 06, 2013, 05:25:37 AM
There is a lot of threads on this subject but nothing seems to work with the current OS. The speaker and earphone volume is not good at all. I took my N7 on a plane and could barely watch a movie I downloaded through Google because I couldn't hear it. If I connect to an auxiliary Bluetooth speaker its ok but that isn't always practical. This is my biggest complaint with the N7.

I believe mx player will boost the volume, swipe up on a video.

Try different headphones, I have some isolation cans with low speaker efficiency that never get loud enough. I like blutooth phones for wires free.

An inline amp might be another option.

Make sure the jack is completely seated, should be a hard click.

Peas out.

It is true that the speaker volume on the Nexus 7 leaves a lot to be desired, but I have always found that the headphone volume and quality to be excellent. One suggestion that has been an issue with many users is that when plugging in the headphone jack there is a quiet noticeable 2 stage click and stopping after the first click, will give poor sound quality.
