Title: freebies for a newbie

Hi guys,
just got my nexus 7 and had a question.  I saw on several of the forums that new purchasers of the device received $25 in credits from Google Play and several free movies and free books and such.  so far, i've found the free books. . . 'treasure island' etc.  i also found the free mags - three of them, but nothing free on the movie front and no credit on play.  perhaps it was a bonus which has expired, but if i have it i'd hate to miss it.

Never heard about the credits and we can't get books, mags or movies here dammit...

When the Nexus 7 was released last summer, you received a $25 credit on Google Play and the Transformers movie for free, but that ended after a few months. Lately I have seen some retail stores, like Walmart, offering an in store credit when you purchase a Nexus 7. BTW, welcome to the forum.

I think was a period were Ice Age 2 or 3 came as the free movie with the N7 too but as Prime has said the offer expired, I believe in September last year.

Somehow if I sign into my two different email accounts at Google play I have ICE AGE on one and Transformers on the other.
