'Vine' has been one of the fastest growing social networking sites for this past year and brought the idea of sharing short time-limited video clips to the masses.  Unfortunately when the company decided to release an Android version of the app they didn't provide front facing camera support for tablet like the Nexus 7...until now.  After receiving a rash of negative feedback and low star ratings on the Google Play Store the company has taken heed and released not one, but two major updates to the Vine app in just the past couple of weeks.  Fixing just about all the glitches and issues that plagued the app on the Nexus 7 including providing front facing camera support, I'm happy to say 'Vine' is now 'ready for primetime'...and the ratings have noticeably improved with many now giving it 4 or 5 stars on the Google Play Store since the update.

Vine is a pretty easy concept to understand...think Instagram for video (in fact Instagram has just recently come out with their own video support in direct response to the success of Vine).  You film short, looping videos...of anything really...that can then be shared with your friends and contacts and posted to the Vine site.   Then viewers are able to comment and interact all in response to your video.    'Vine' has gotten almost 13 million users in a very short time and you can follow what the latest trending videos are, share to Facebook and Twitter and more.  'Vine' is free and you can get it at the link below.
