bjs229 appears to be the "Top Gun", when it comes to having the Nexus 7 2013, "In Hand", on 26Jul2013. Can any "Forum Member", knock off bjs229, for "Top Gun" status?. Just for fun, if you are a forum member, and you can top bjs229, post your, "In Hand Date." BFM and JayJ, are appointed as, "Top Gun Judges." Remember, claims are in the spirit of fun and are accepted as proof by member statement and do not require validation. 30Jul2013 ends the Top Gun challenge, so can anyone take the, "Yellow Jersey? "

I just scooped up a 32GB Nexus 7 2013 from my local Walmart. Saturday 27Jul2013  8)

I cannot bump Barry from the Top Gun spot and you may not either but share with the forum when you have your Nexus 7 2013 in hand. BTW, my small town Walmart had 3 of the 16 GB models and 2 of the 32 GB models.

Yes it would work absolutely fine but the problems would be firstly UK customs charges, the only way around this would be somebody bring one into the UK themselves.
Secondly would be warranty issues, we all know about the RMA stories from the 2012 Nexus 7 and personally the hassle of having to return the device to the kindhearted person that helped you it in the first place and then them having the hasslr of dealing with GP or BestBuy, Walmart or wherever would be more trouble than it's worth for both parties involved.
Nice thought though bjs, I wouldn't mind somebody picking me up a Chromecast though... 😋

I really like the hardware. Very nice fit and finish. I'm pretty impressed with it. Worth the upgrade.

I agree. Every minute I like it more and more. I can't wait to get this Chromecast and hopefully wireless charging sometime soon.

Wi-Fi is no better on my Nexus 4 with 4.3, if anything I think it's worse...

That's the biggest let down going Nexus over an OEM, I wish Google would invest in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stacks.

Fortunately, I am in the catbird seat, with a Nexus 7 2012 on 4.2 2, that is working fine, an a Nexus 7 2013, both of which. can wait on the toolkits from Mark Skippen and WugFresh.
