Title: Best Memory Size for New Nexus -- 16 or 32GB
Post by: gp123 on August 06, 2013, 07:32:53 AM
Trying to decide on 16 vs 32 GB of memory for new N7.  What do you folks recommend - and why?

Interested in hearing how folks (plan to) use 32 GB (actually about 28 GB available) of memory.  My prior 8 GB N7 was never more than half full.

Considering your experience with the 8GB Nexus 7 2012, you will probably be fine with the 16 GB Nexus 7 2013. Personally, I always go with the larger capacity if the cost per GB is attractive. for example, the cost per GB for 16 GB is $14.31 and for 32 GB is $8.40, so it is a no brainer for me.

Forty dollars for double the Gigs was a no brainer for me. I like to store my media on the device. Video and karaoke files add up quickly. IMHO I would much rather have the extra space if needed rather than not have it. Who knows what the future holds? My first Nexus was a 16. I constantly was shuffling files between it and the pc. I sold it for a 32 and never looked back.
