Title: Moving old-N7 Apps to new-N7
Post by: gp123 on August 06, 2013, 03:30:52 PM
I'm guessing this is easily handled by Google Play.  Log on to Play from new N7; see your existing apps (paid and free); and download to new-N7.

Is this the best way, or is there some other method?

Yes, that happened as soon as I signed into Google. You do have to rearrange your home page though, which was a bit of a pain.

Some apps don't run on the new nexus 7,  such as The Australian newspaper, so they not only don't appear in your apps, but also won't appear after a search in the Play store.

Google play is how i did it. As mentioned I have spent more time rearranging my screens.
