Chromecast definitely has potential for developers.
Koush, a well know developer, revealed that he is working on a new app that will stream content from DropBox to your Chromecast for display on your HDTV. So imagine arriving at a family function or a hot party, plugging your Chromecast into an HDMI port on an HDTV and whipping out your phone or Nexus 7 and showing off your latest videos, pictures, or music that is stored in your DropBox.

The potential is awesome and my Chromecast arrives tomorrow, but the biggest benefits will come from developers.

That is great news. I have had mine for about a week and it is pretty cool. I was hoping that some compatible apps would drop soon!
