Title: Best Buy Nexus 7 2012 Trade In
Post by: S.Prime on August 09, 2013, 06:56:18 PM
So Best Buy will give you a $50 gift card if you trade in a working Nexus 7 2012 on a Nexus 7 2013. Personally, I would give it to a family member or any deserving individual, before I took that deal. Fortunately, I have a family member who can receive my 2012, which retains plenty of usability. It has been mentioned that Radio Shack will give you $28, so perhaps  Best Buy, is a better deal. If you upgraded to the 2013, what did you do with your old tablet?

Or you could sell it on eBay or Craiglist and many other sites for probably at least twice the Best Buy offer let alone the RadioShack.

Hello, Game Stop said they would give me $179.00 trade in for my old Nexus 7. Keep in mind though that my Nexus is like new. There is nothing wrong with it, in fact I've been questioning my decision to sell it and buy the new one.

With all that being said I probably will sell it, but for no less than $179.00. The lowest I have seen for the 1st Nexus is $180.00 on sale at some store, I forgot the name. I'm going to sell it for this reason; if I don't sell it now then I will not be able to get much money for it when Nexus 3 comes out.

Of course I'm getting the new Nexus with the money I sell my 1st one for. I will have to add $50 or $90 dollars to it, plus tax, but I will have the newest model and its wonderful upgrades.

$179 for a used 2012 Nexus 7 is an amazing offer even if it is in 'mint' like new condition.  I'm surprised they are doing that and if I were you I'd take the money and run too...then just an extra $50 for the New N7.  No-brainer.

I am selling mine for $125. I think that is a fair price.

I have to agree, I'd have snapped their arm off for that kind of money. Personally though I've decided to keep my first gen Nexus 7 for my girlies (8 & 9 yes) to use for games and when they need to search the net for homework. They love playing Riptide. 8)
