Title: Video not streaming ?!

Hi.  Internet video for some sites are not streaming on my Nexus 7. 
What could be the reason for this ?

1.  Flash not installed ?
2.  Problem with service carrier ?  Despite showing strong 5 bar signals, bid does'nt stream.
3. YouTube videos are working perfectly well.
4.  Do I need to root my device for overall improvement in speed ?

I have the same problem with certain video sites. It takes forever to load and sometimes won't play.
