Title: Do We Have a Problem Here??
Post by: radiocycle on July 22, 2012, 09:14:33 AM
Hmmm, I just ran across this article: http://venturebeat.com/2012/07/20/is-your-nexus-7-having-touchscreen-issues/ (http://venturebeat.com/2012/07/20/is-your-nexus-7-having-touchscreen-issues/)

Anyone seeing this on their N7?

Not a single issue on mine.  No screen raise, no flickering, and for sure no touch screen problems.

No problem here but I don't push mine very hard. Sounds like the touch screen problem occurs when it's being put through its paces.

I haven't noticed this, but I don't run any majorly taxing apps either.  Maybe if it's a software glitch they'll fix it in an update.

Update: I found this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BOTU75DBUA#ws) showing how the N7 can sometimes have dead zones on the screen after waking.   I'll test this tonight after I get home, but is anyone experiencing this?  I haven't noticed it on mine, but just curious.
