Hello from me.
I've had a Nexus 7 for a couple of months now, and I'm getting on quite well with it.
I need some assistance with playing media off my home network. I have a WD My Book Live, and I can play video and audio files using AndroXplorer to navigate to them and VLC to play them. Trouble is I can only play one file at a time. I don't seem to be able to navigate to my media directly using VLC. Am I using VLC and/or AndroXplorer incorrectly or is there another App ( or App's) I can use?
Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried vlc in a while, but bsplayer has a lan mode.

Whoosh, I get an answer faster than a Quad Core processor.
Thanks Matt, I'll give that a try and report back.

I installed BSPlayer but I get an error message: "Error connecting to share", but if I scan the drive, I see all my media and it plays every media file on that drive, in all of the sub folders. I've had a play with the "General Preferences". The only thing that looked remotely like it might make a difference is the "Add subfolders", which I've unchecked, but still no change to the way my media is played.
Any ideas please?

Archos video player or wondershare might work.
Bsplayer doesn't connect but still scans and plays?

If I select "Browse" I see my server and the root directory, but if I select it I get the error message. If I select the "Library" tab, and the "All Files" folder, I see all of the files, audio and video, that are on the server arranged in alphabetical order, and they play in that order.
I'll give the two suggestions above a try.
Thanks.
