I just wanted to ask the forum to help me publicly thank Barry (bjs229) for being a great guy. Since joining the forum Barry has learnt from our members and become a great contributor to the community, his wit has made me laugh on many occasions but the reason I want you to join me in thanking Barry is because when the 2013 Nexus 7 came out and during our usual Hangouts he offered to pick me up a "new" Nexus 7 and ship it over to the UK for me. I declined with obvious concerns about shipping cost, UK import duties and warranty issues but I asked Barry if he would pick me up a Chromecast. He did and despite USPS and Royal Mails poor service I finally received my Chromecast yesterday which I am more than happy with.
So thanks Barry, really appreciate what you did for me bro!!

And I want to thank all three of you for helping make this forum what it is. 14 months and 19,000 posts ago I started Nexus7Forum.com hoping I could meet other Nexus 7 owners and Android hobbyists to help share some of the enjoyment in using my new gadget. I've been really lucky to have a bunch of great people help out as moderators and I think all the members of the forum appreciate the time and work all of you have put in over the past year. I know I appreciate it and I'm glad you're part of this site and the other ones that have come after. Thanks guys!

Pleasure Rob! In the time I've owned an Android device I've learnt all I know from forums and the best way to respect those that I have learnt from is to share that knowledge with others.
Thanks for a great portal to share that knowledge and I too have learnt more here because you can never stop learning.

Thumbs Up, Barry, you just went up by a degree.
If you are new to the forum, you may have noticed that you can give someone a "Thumbs Up" in the browser version of the forum (sorry it is not available in TapaTalk) and it adds to their popularity, so when I gave Barry a "Thumbs Up" his popularity increased by "1". Fortunately, with the level of administrator and moderator interaction in our forum, from BFM, bjs229, and JayJ, members rarely, if ever, need to use the "Thumbs Down" option.
