Title: Pulse notification light?
Post by: nexusNovice on September 01, 2013, 03:17:11 PM
There is a setting under Display for "Pulse Notification Light".

What is that and what does it do?

Light at bottom edge (portrait mode) pulses when notification (like e-mail) occurs AND tablet is in sleep mode.  Pulsing stops when tablet is again awake.
Be sure to enable this in Settings/Display

Thanks.
I never noticed a light there before. Will watch for it.

glad you mentioned that. I installed the free version a week ago on my nexus 7.2 and it really messed things on the Nexus screen. Fortunately, uninstalling restored things.

I have the paid version on my Nevus 4 and it's great, there are so many options and customization settings it's worthy app on any devices but tried it on my 2nd gen N7 and the LED still blinked white so I'm guessing this was one of those things Google and ASUS skimped on to keep the price down. Shame though.
