Title: Looking for an office and PDF gallery app
Post by: fxsarge on July 23, 2012, 10:37:50 AM
I came from an Asus transformer and loved Polaris office which apparently can't be used on the N7 so do you guys recommend any other office type apps?

The second app I'm looking for which would be really nice is a PDF gallery type of app. Something similar to the iPads. I need an easy way to look through PDFs for my job.

I managed to acquire quick office pro for free from the Amazon apps store. I tested it for a few minutes on my tab and it seems to work fine I'm pretty sure there is a free version too.

I picked up OfficeSuite Pro when it was the free app of the day on Amazon as well, but I have Documents to Go as well. I did install Documents to Go on my N7, but I really have no preference between the two of them.

Docs To Go is a good app for PDF and Windows documents.  The paid version allows you to edit and create documents (not PDFs).

For the cheapest option, I.e. free, check out Kingsoft Office in the Play Store.

For PDF files I recommend the ezPDF app. It is a paid app, but it is feature rich and quick. One great feature is its text mode that renders text nicely. Afobe Reader is also very capable as is Kingsoft Office.
