Title: Nexus 7 with HP Printer
Post by: pzeller on October 19, 2013, 12:09:09 PM
I am a newbie to this forum and I hope this question isn't too dumb! I own a Nexus 7 1st Generation and I have a HP Deskjet F4480 Printer. Is it possible to print directly from this tablet to this printer with a USB cable? If not, thank you for the reply. If so, could someone tell me the specific cable type(s) I'd have to purchase and the app I'd have to download?  Thanks and I may have many more stupid questions in the near future!

My personal choice is PrinterShare from the Google Play Store, using the WiFi option, there is an option in the program to print by a direct usb connection, but I have honestly not used that feature and cannot verify that the feature does work. This YouTube video should give you the information that you need for printing from your Nexus 7.

I agree with Prime. I use the wireless option as well.
