Title: Will not forget network
Post by: bk220 on October 24, 2013, 08:09:36 AM
Hi all, relatively new Nexus owner (1st gen, August 2013) and have started having connectivity issues with the tablet.  Sometimes I have network connection, sometimes not.  I have tried resetting the modem and router (Linksys WRT54G) with no results.  On the tablet I can go into the wi-fi settings and click "forget", but the connection does not disappear.  I would like to disable that connection and basically start from scratch, but I can't figure out how to make it go away.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For what it's worth, there is a laptop and xbox on the network and neither have any connectivity issues whatsoever.

Check the WiFi security settings on the WRT54G and if it is set to WEP, change it WPA2 or some other advanced setting, I have had issues with the WRT54G using WEP and Android devices. Remember you will need to change it on your Xbox and Laptop as well.
