Title: Greetings from NE TN, I see a new N7 in my future

Hello to all, I do not have a new N7 yet, but I suspect after either Black Friday or Cyber Monday shall have one.

I'm a long time Windows user but have no experience with Android, so I'm open to suggestions on how to get started.  There is probably a decent owner's manual that comes with the unit, right?  TIA

Glad to have you, Larry. There is a basic user's guide, but beyond that, you have found the best source of information on the Nexus 7, in our forum.
