Title: Massive New KitKat Android 4.4 Info Leaked
Post by: Babyfacemagee on October 31, 2013, 01:32:10 AM
So tonight, on the eve of Halloween Day there's apparently been a major leak of new info by tech columnist Amir Efrati regarding some of the new features we can expect to find in Android 4.4, KitKat.  His Post (http://jessicalessin.com/2013/10/31/androids-next-targets-wearables-tvs-low-end-phones/) outlines a number of key details from Android's latest version including major new power saving initiatives that are part of an overall attempt to de-fragmentize the Android base as well as other developments such as; a new push into NFC, support for new sensors such as geomagnetic rotation vector, step detector and step counter, integrated television remote support, Bluetooth HID over GATT and Bluetooth Message Access Profile support so that Android devices will connect with more devices and more.  He also teases that there's a lot more info that he couldn't fit in the initial post but that he'll continue to discuss...and divulge...on his twitter feed and Google+ site at the links below.   One more tidbit he did let go is the introduction of a new 'Full Screen' mode for devices where the navigation menu would remain hidden.  He's got a lively discussion going on on his Google+ account right now where's he's going into more features for those that are interested.  Link below.
