Title: Unroot
Post by: Jimaz on November 23, 2013, 02:33:12 PM
I have tried everything to unroot my nexus 7 2013. I used the Nexus root kit, and it won't work. It says it can not find the ADB device drivers. How would I get that to work?

I've looked on the web, and I still can't unroot..I have no custom Rom installed. If I can update to KitKat while rooted please let me know.

As long as you haven't changed anything, like the kernel, rom, bootloader, or removing stock programs, it should update. Make sure you have enough battery or plug it in first. Did you temporarily flash twrp?

You can try but a custom recovery will prevent to update from taking...

To get drivers, if your using WugFresh's NRT then follow the Full Driver Installation Guide found at the top right of the NRT interface.

Yeah, recovery. Also change back to stock launcher first in case the one you're using is not yet compatible with kitkat.
