First try to remove your WiFi connection and reestablish. Swipe down from the top of the screen on the right side. Tap the WiFi icon and select your network, by pressing and holding and an option box will open, tap forget network. Then reselect your WiFi connection and enter your password to access your network. If you still cannot access the Internet post the type of WiFi security that you are using on your router as a second step.

Try resetting your router.  Turn it off (or unplug it).  Wait at least 30 seconds and power it up again.

If your WiFi key is 10 numbers, then you are using WEP and the Nexus 7 does not work well with WEP from my experience, which would explain the reason for your other devices working. This would be easily change to WPA or WPA2, in your router. Just a shot in the dark. Also have you tried the Nexus 7 on another WiFi network?

Please try and test on another wifi source.
In the mean time, Did you delete your wifi connection on the Nexus and then start from scratch? Sometimes it is easy to mistake a capital letter for lowercase. If it worked before, it should work again.

Thanks for all your help, nothing worked, so I got rid of it and now have a new one that works perfect.

Glad you were able to resolve it. The three basic steps to resolving WiFi connection issues are:

1) Delete the connection on the tablet and reestablish the connection.

2) Restart the router.

3) Verify WiFi functionality on another network.
