Title: Uploading GIF files to websites
Post by: HalOfBorg on December 13, 2013, 07:29:33 AM
Nexus 7 32Gig. Latest Android.

Everytime I try to upload a GIF to photobucket or the like, OR as an Outlook/Hotmail attachment (using chrome or firefox) I get the same results:

The Gallery will not show me the GIFs. It seems this is normal.
With any other method, I can select the GIF (any gif I have), but get the same pop-up message "Failed to open selected file".
(I don't want to OPEN the file, just send it. Confusing meaning here?)

I have Astro file Manager, Es file Explorer and Animated Gif Player. All can see, open and animate all GIFs that I have encountered.

What's going on and how can I fix it?

Thanks for any help/
