Title: Amazon Prime Videos not playing
Post by: rathbone7 on December 28, 2013, 10:25:52 AM
So far I am very happy with my Nexus 7 4.4, but I cannot get it to play instant videos from my Amazon account. If I had known this before I bought I might have gone a different direction. Does anyone know of a fix? I have tried loading Flash but have since learned that 4.4 doesn't support any Flash version. Any ideas or successes?

Flash Fix

I've watched YouTube flash in the browser with this method.

And, I just checked my app updates.
Flashfox, a browser with integral on device flash support, now works with Kit Kat!

Thanks. I have tried both suggestions. The only change is that now Amazon displays a message that my device is not supported.

You have to swipe down upper right and choose desktop user agent. The mobile web pages do not embed flash.
