Title: notifications keep screen on and drain battery please help me to solve it

When I get a notification on my lock screen when not using the device the screen comes on and stays on unless I turn it off again which really drains my battery as I have the screen bright. How can you stop notifications waking up my device please.

Check the apps that have notifications poping up and see if you can turn off notifications. Selectively turning off notifications may help you isolate it to a single app.
