Title: screen blacks out unexpectedly

Screen goes dark unexpectedly , must touch power button to bring back, what could be causing this?

Swipe down from the top right side of the screen and tap Settings then tap Display then tap Sleep and set the time for the auto sleep function.

IF Primes excellent advice did not remedy the situation,  please give more info. Is this happening while using the Nexus during a game or app or after Sleep like above?

Do you have a dodgy magnetic sleep/wake case on it ?
