Title: Waking up to music or radio
Post by: rmcellig on January 15, 2014, 06:41:14 AM
There are so many apps out there that wake you up in the morning. What I am looking for is something that will wake me up to a predetermined radio station of music from my music playlists of songs on my Nexus. What is the best app that will do this?

What should I search for when looking for an app like this?

Sorry but I can't help you on this but I'm astonished
your'e asking this question.
The sound output from a Nexus 7 wouldn't waken anything, indeed
plugging it into a 25W+25W amplifier and turning up volume to 11
makes one  dimly aware that something is being broadcast.
I have seven pairs of headphones all of them silent when plugged into this ill designed toy.

Search "music alarm" on the play store. I.e.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vp.alarmClockPlusDock

Some users have discovered plugging their headphones in past the first click magically gets them working....

I like "My Alarm Clock" by Apalon Apps. I started with the free version and liked it so much I purchased the paid version. I run it on an old Kindle. I figure since I'm charging the Kindle every night, it might as well be doing something useful at the same time.
