Suggestions please for a simple to set up and use firewall for my Nexus 7, Have looked at the Play store can see a few but they all look very complicated to set up. No very PC/Tablet minded. Use a PC which was set up for me by a friend, have now got a tablet.
Thank you

What do you want a Firewall for on your Android device?

Just thought as my PC has a firewall for security that my Nexus 7 should have one?

Firewalls on Android work similarly to those on a PC but only stop selected applications from accessing the internet.
You could try something like this...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netspark.firewall
I've not used it so I'm unsure how well it works.
You could also take a look at Kaspersky or Lookout apps available on the Play store. These are Antivirus applications but include a firewall.
Personally I don't use an Antivirus nor a firewall, Android isn't like your PC and Antivirus software isn't really necessary.
Are you rooted?
If you were rooted then there are several options available. Here's is a dedicated Firewall application...

Personally if your rooted though I would recommend you look into App ops shortcuts like these...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.colortiger.appopsinstaller
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.findsdk.apppermission
Hope that's of some help to you.
