One of the things that make the Nexus 7 such a great gaming device is its Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. With its 4 core 1 (it actually has 5 cores) plus GeForce 12 core graphic processor running at 1.3 GHz it can handle the most demanding games designed for the Android operating system. What some might not know however is that there is a dedicated site set up by Nvidia to highlight games that are specially designed to run on Tegra processors and often on the Tegra 3 chip they offer improved frame rates, added textures and effects and an all around superior gaming experience. In fact some games are 'Tegra 3 Only' and will not run on any other chip set.
