Title: Beautiful Widget
Post by: bigdog9586 on July 26, 2012, 01:35:41 PM
How do I make it work?  It says to use click on app lancher. When I hold finger on screen all I get is the option for wallpaper. When I had DroidX when you did that you got lots of choices. I have the animations and fancy widgets but just don't understand what to do.

The N7 does not work the same as phones for widgets.  Check the Userguide PDF -- you start with the All Apps button and then choose the widgets tab.

From the home screen click on the white circle with six dots. This is your app launcher. From there click on the widget tab on the top of the page. Find the widget you want, long press it and drop it on the home screen of your choosing. This is a functionality of Android 4.0 and up on all devices. Of course some manufacturers have an enhanced ui that adds the home screen long press feature back in.
