Title: cannot get Citrix to work
Post by: amenu on June 16, 2014, 08:54:32 PM
Hi,
I use my PC to access applications on my work network from home using Citrix Receiver. I would like to do the same using my Nexus 7 tablet. I have installed the Citrix Receiver app from the Google Play Store. What should happen is that I go to my work network web login page, log in, and then see a list of icons of apps, then click on one of the apps (e.g., Outlook). A file named "launch.ica" is then downloaded, and should be opened by Receiver. This will then launch Outlook on my device. It works this way on my PC. However, with my Nexus, the "launch.ica" is downloaded but not started by Receiver. So Outlook never opens.

Can anyone help me get this working?

Hi again,

I found the solution by installing the Firefox app. Firefox was able to start "launch.ica".
