Title: where are my email addresses stored
Post by: thesaint on September 03, 2014, 04:14:57 PM
I cannot find a contacts list which contains previously inserted email addresses.
I can look in "People" and indeed some of these have an email address; However some of the "People" do not contain an email address as part of their data, yet if I start to compose an email and write the name of the contact; N7 finds and inserts their address.
Where did it find it?

Might be in your email history or email-specific memory.

I haven't had this problem because I don't use gmail for my primary.  I think it might be some kind of sync problem.  A Google search shows that you are not alone.  I haven't been able to find a solution.

Help- where is the address book/list of contacts on GMail, etc.? (http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-7-tablet-2012/195525-help-where-address-book-list-contacts-gmail-etc.html)

how do you access gmail contacts using the Nexus 7 (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/TTovWoHDV8E)

You might try some of the many contacts list organizers (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=contacts%20list%20organizer&c=apps) in the Google Play Store.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
