Title: I don't have Gallery app
Post by: greenbananas on December 03, 2014, 11:11:50 AM
My Nexus 7 2012 does not have the Gallery app but does have Photo app.  I am running Android 5.  How do I delete all (not 1 but all) photos and yet keep them on the cloud.  I have saved them on the cloud already but I want to free up space on my device by deleting them from there.  Also how can I get the Gallery app?

Thanks

With Android 5.0 we no longer have the Gallery App, but the Photo App will give you the same control. Tap on the three bars at the top left while in the Photo App and the tap "On Device", then long press on the photos that you want to delete and then tap the trash can in the upper right corner to delete and it will be sent to trash.

You can still get the Gallery apk if you have a pre-lollipop device to hand.

You can back it up via ES FILE EXPLORER and then copy it to your Lollipop device and install.
