Title: Reset N7 like new, almost.
Post by: nodsirrah on May 21, 2015, 12:23:09 PM
My N7 is about 2 years old, running 5.0.2. I was recently given a 4 year old iPad when my stepson upgraded. I would like to remove most of the Apps on the N7 and set it up to use as a reader only. I will need the WiFi to download books, but I think that is all I will need except for Clean Master.
I have been using it primarily as a reader but I constantly need to keep all the other stuff up to date, and the battery life is pretty short.
I need simple advice as I an not a Techie and my 82 year old brain doesn't work too well.

Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the user icon, then tap the gear icon for settings, then tap Backup and reset, then tap Factory data reset. Your Nexus will reboot to factory state.
