Title: Greetings from (Mills River) Western North Carolina
Post by: gp123 on July 29, 2012, 10:45:57 AM
Hello from gp123.  No tablet (or even a cellphone) yet but seriously considering Nexus7 purchase.  Depends upon how well it meets my minimal needs -- book reader, Skype communication, easy e-mail (g-mail and ATT Mail) read/respond, easy intenet surfing via wifi, ability to port web software applications.

Optimistic that my needs will be easily met.  What do you think?
Waiting to hear the opinions of N7 "first users".

Regards to all.  Happy to be here.

@ gp123

I think that you will be very happy with the Nexus 7 as an e-reader and with the email and Web surfing ability. Skype while functional may leave some to be desired in the camera quality, but again it is usable. I cannot comment on porting Web applications without more specific details. I think you will be very happy with the Nexus 7.
