Title: Anyone using 7Notes handwriting recogniton app successfully?
Post by: Ghiizhar on July 30, 2012, 10:36:01 AM
I installed 7Notes last night, and it seemed to install OK, but the option to use handwriting recognition - the primary function of the app, is not available. There's supposed to be an additional icon to toggle between keyboard, plain handwriting, and recognition. and it does not appear in the 7Note app or any other app.

7Notes is listed in Settings as an input device. Is anyone using this app successfully?

I filed a bug report with the developer, and am awaiting a reply. I'll post the reply, and hopefully, the resolution when they reply.

Good news, 7Notes is now working!

The developer replied with a link to the XDA developers forum. They asked me to try the XDA solution, and report back to them.

It worked as described at XDA. It's not a bug, but the fact that alternate input methods are selected differently in Jellybean.
