Had it about 12 hours.  Only issue is how to get calibre books on my Nexus 7

Welcome meralp!   Glad to have you aboard.  I'd post the question in the help board if you haven't figured it out and I'm sure someone's probably figured it out already and can lead you in the right direction.

Calibre will not recognize your N7 at this point because Windows identifies your N7 as a MTP device. You can use Calibre to covert books to epub format if necessary, but until Calibre is coded to recognize a MTP device you will have to manually transfer the epub files to the N7.
