Hello,
I received my Nexus 7 device today. I live in the UK and I was sent an america charger (with what looks like a slot a for converter). I was wondering is it possible to charge over usb from my laptop? That is how I am powering the device at the moment but in Settings > Battery it displays "0% Charging (USB)" - this has not updated and I have had the device charging for 30 minutes.
My question is - will a blackberry charger I have be suitable for charging this device?
Its properties are:
INPUT: 100-240V ~ 150mA 50-60Hz
10-20VA
OUTPUT:5V _______ 700mA
------------
Thanks

Im in the uk too mate and got the three pin adapter in my box with the nexus.
I wonder why you didnt. Was it from the google store?

It was from the google store and I have a shameful confession to make. It seems I do have a 3 pin adapter and it must have dropped out of the box without me noticing. It is charging now. How long did you leave it to charge for initially?
And does your charging info update in Settings > Battery?
Mine still shows "0% Charging (AC)"

Mine had some charge in it when i received it so i had a play about then charged it up.
I don't know about the charging update?
Just leave it on for a couple of hours then have a go.
