Title: Playing video skipping
Post by: bluema9ic on August 09, 2012, 01:26:35 AM
I was playing my video on Slingbox and the video started pausing a split second every 5 seconds and it would continue still in sync with the audio.  I thought it was because I had it on HD video.  Changing to standard video will give me the same problem.  I later try my own video and it does the exact same thing.  I stream from MLB.com and the exact problem occur, every 5 seconds it would do a slight pause.

If someone knows how to solve this, please let me know.  It's very annoying.

updated: I finally figure it out when I turned off the Nexus 7.  When I turned it off, it automatically turn off every program that runs in the background and I realized that the program that ran in the background was "rotation locker".  After turning on rotation locker, it does what it did before, pausing my video for a split second.  I decided to use a different rotation software that actually fixed this problem, Ultimate Rotation Control, it's free.  No more pausing issue.
