Title: Now Unstable??
Post by: radiocycle on August 10, 2012, 07:53:36 PM
Hey all,

Seems like ever since I rooted my N7 that it has some minor problems.  I didn't do any back-ups because I haven't got all that much 'personal' data on the machine yet.  But the main problem I'm having, aside form little bugs in Asphalt 7, is that it seems to drop the wifi connection with my home network randomly.  What's up with that?? It seemed to be very 'stable' when I first fired it, before rooting.  What is it that makes it shut the wifi off at seemingly random times now??  Thanks for any replies,

radio

No such problems here.  Could you have accidentally toggled your wifi settings to disconnect when sleeping?

I cannot see any reason for rooting to cause the WiFi to drop the connection. I would suggest that you make sure that the binary is up to date in the Superuser app, look for the cause in any app that you have installed since rooting, and last test your tablet on a different network.

Will do... now I'm thinking maybe a 'power managing' app might be at work; I'll check it out.  But also my newly installed Asphalt 7 game has some tiny bugs, like no labels on some of the buttons.  The first time I downloaded it, it was perfect.  I've got an email into the customer support, we'll see it that does any good...
