Title: Task killer - Bad. What about cache cleaner.
Post by: norcal618 on August 12, 2012, 06:58:52 PM
When I first started using my nex7 I installed and was using es task killer, that is until I read that this is generally a no no with android. My question- is it OK to use the cache clearing option in es? If so when and how often.

Its OK to use either but with android 4.1 it isn't necessary.

Generally with a larger internal memory space our N7 shouldn't suffer with lag like low end devices do, cleaning the cache will help speed up a device by recovering some of the used memory.
Cleaning the cache will do no harm though so you can if you so desire.
