As I have stated in other topics, you tablet functions under MTP which is not fully compatible with the Windows file system. Try Dropbox or a WiFi transfer app.

i agree, the app must be compatible with the windows system. but i am having a hard time to find one .net pdf reading app (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/asp-net-imaging/pdf-reading/). here is one i am recently used to read pdf on my pc. can you tell me whether it is suitable. ask for professional opinion. thank you.

MTP or Media Transfer Protocol is designed to allow file transfer to your device and does not function like the Windows file explorer that you are familiar with. Usually you can transfer files to your Nexus with Windows file explorer, but at times you will experience undesirable results, depending on the content that is being transferred.

I turned on file and print sharing on the PC. Right clicked the folders to share. Using es file explorer, scanned for lan. Logged onto the PC from nexus with same user name and password as set up on PC at boot. Read, play, or transfer PDF, music, videos over wifi. Zip and rar built into esfx. Methods for file sharing vary with computer and os.

You can also try solid explorer which now has chromecast capability.

When tapping on a file with esfx, you'll see a chooser menu to select the app that will read it. For PDF, I'm using Radaee PDF viewer. Fast.

Hi, matt.
Thanks for sharing your problem. As for me, I have seldom tried to do with that. Have you ever worked it out? I wonder whether you have any exprience about pdf conversion process. Because there is something wrong with my pdf reader. I need convert pdf to text (http://www.pqscan.com/pdf-to-text/) or other formats. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Lee
