Title: Screen Turning On During Sleep
Post by: greengrapes on August 19, 2012, 08:46:21 PM
Hi,

I had a question about the sleep function on the N7. When the tablet goes to sleep/goes on standby on its own or through pressing the power button, the screen still turns back on on its own when I move the tablet (screen stays black if I leave it on a desk), which is a bit inconvenient when I'm walking around with it in my back or pocket. Is this normal? I also checked to make sure I'm not accidentally hitting the power button to wake it back up by putting the device into standby and then tilting the tablet slightly after the screen goes dim, and the screen just turns back on. I was wondering if maybe the power button was loose, but the device doesn't go into standby when I move the tablet (which I expected would happen if a loose button was the issue, but that was just a conjecture), and the button doesn't feel particularly loose. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you installed any applications that could do this?
