Title: New Kid in Town

Hi just signed up, Nexus is my first tablet and I've only had a brief time with a cheap android 2.1 phone, so absolutely loving it.
I'm too scared to root in case I brick it, so very interested in the Kingston widrive, has anyone used one?

Welcome to the forum muffinman!  Congrats on getting your Nexus 7.  So as per the Kingston Wi-Drive, I actually did a front page article on it here (http://nexus7forum.com/index.php?topic=504.msg2775#msg2775).   As a new forum member I'd recommend browsing our discussion boards and using the 'search' function and you'll find a ton of information and discussion about the N7.  If there's something that just doesn't come up in search then feel free to post any questions or comments in the appropriate board.   Once again...welcome and I think you'll find the community here really friendly and helpful as you start diving into your new tablet.

Welcome to the forum muffinman. As I have stated before rooting is not for everyone and you have many external storage options without rooting.
