Title: understanding file transfers by bluetooth
Post by: dogsbody on August 30, 2012, 08:34:15 AM
I am partially sighed , and hence love the N7... but I want to transfer music from my phone by bluetooth phone.  Two paired succesfully, but how do I get the N7 to read the Folder with the MP3s in it, and how do I transfer it to an equivalent folder in Android 4.1?
Bear with me, I am used to Windows, and Unix, and am having to learn again
Thanks for any help

You would send the file from your computer to the Nexus 7 if they are already paired. Then look under notifications on the Nexus and there will be a bluetooth share notice which you tap and then accept to receive the file. Open your music player and the file should be there. If all goes well. Good luck

Does the phone have a file explorer or are there Bluetooth options in the music player of the phone?

Once you've downloaded the music, use a file explorer like Astro or Solid Explorer on your N7 to move the files to the Music folder on your N7. You can also create folders for your music with the file explorer.
