The Nexus 7 Tablet has been steadily rolling out across the western world over the past two months, with english speaking countries like the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia seeing Google's new 7 inch wonder first and only recently western european nations like France, Spain and Germany getting a taste of that Jelly Bean goodness.   Asia on the other hand, where Asus, the manufacturer of the Nexus 7 is based hasn't see any rollouts yet, which is surprising considering how big the Android system is in asian countries.  That's about to change however folks as it looks like Taiwan will be the first of what is sure to be a domino of nations across the east to receive the new top dog in the Android tablet world.

Currently up for pre-order at three major wireless carriers; Chungwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, and Far EasTone Telecommunications, the Nexus 7 is expected to start shipping in mid-september.   Pricing is a bit higher than here in the U.S., although about comparable to our western european friends with the 16GB N7 selling for TW $8,990, which converts to around $300 US.  September 12th is the date that Taiwan Mobile is giving as an actual shipping date.  After Taiwan the Nexus 7 is expected to hit Hong Kong with the rest of asia including such large markets as India, China and Japan to follow soon after.   It'll be interesting to see if the rumored 3G variant is offered in some of these asian markets where cellular is far more common than Wifi.
